• Confidentiality: Do not share personal information about others without their consent. Respect everyone’s privacy. 
• Personal Photos: Please only share if you feel comfortable and take note that if you have location services on, it is easy for you to be tracked. Safety first!
• Self Promotion: Here for it! Share what you created with the community in a respectful way.

Consent & Private Messages

• Do not send photos, videos, NSFW content, or other sensitive material to members without their clear consent first.
• Respect personal boundaries and comfort levels in both server interactions and direct messages.
• Unsolicited explicit or inappropriate content may result in warnings, loss of roles, or removal from the community. 

Communication Guidelines 

• Use Appropriate Channels: Post in the correct channels and keep discussions on-topic. Use designated channels for specific topics.
• NSFW Content:  Please use the dedicated NSFW section.
• Content & Trigger Warnings: Please use content warnings (CW) or trigger warnings (TW) for potentially distressing content. Provide a brief description before sharing. Please use *word blocks on text and *spoiler warnings on pictures and links.
• Language:  English is preferred; however, we now have a translator bot. React to any message with your country’s flag and the bot will send you a DM with the translation. 

Mental Health Support 

• No Professional Advice: This is a peer support community. Do not provide medical, legal, or other professional advice. Encourage members to seek professional help when needed.
• Be Supportive: Offer empathy, support, and understanding. Avoid making judgmental or dismissive comments.
• No Crisis Management: If someone is in crisis, provide them with resources and encourage them to contact professional crisis services immediately.

Moderation and Safety 

• Follow Moderator Instructions: Respect the decisions and instructions of the moderators. If you have a disagreement, discuss it privately and respectfully.
• Report Issues: If you see any rule violations or concerning behavior, report it to the moderators immediately.
• No Impersonation: Do not impersonate other members or moderators.
• No Spamming: Avoid spamming messages, images, or links. This includes repeated posts.
• No Disruptive Behavior: No putting other members down or making others feel uncomfortable in any way shape or form. 
• No Illegal Activities: Do not engage in or promote illegal activities.

Rule Violations 

• Rule Violations: This is an intentional safe space. Anyone who violates this space with negativity, toxic behavior, etc., towards another server member, will be immediately banned. There is zero tolerance for this type of behavior.
• Appeal Process: If you feel you have been unfairly banned, you may appeal to the moderation team for further review.
• Minor Infractions: For any minor infractions, you will be timed out.

I know we are all affected in some way, shape or form by what is currently happening in the United States (even those of us who live outside of the US). With that in mind, there is a private channel that has been created for anyone who wants to discuss current events and/or vent about it. 

• Please keep any current events, political talk, etc. out of the public channels.
• If you would like to be added to this channel (World News), please ask one of the admins or moderators.
